Lots of the top folks in the enterprise storage community are now using the microblogging service, and a regular community has evolved. It’s really taken off over the past few months.

Since this is a twitter blog – I have a question. Anyone know how to use the # in twitter to group messages and send them to one area? This is like what they did on Facebook with the inauguration…

Just add a # before a word to tag it. You can then search for it on search.twitter.com, and some clients will automatically link it. For example if you typed “I love working for #emc!” the “#emc” part might link to http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23emc and you’d see my demo tweet. But it’s actually no different from anything else to twitter – you can search on “emc” just as easily as “#emc”!
