This week, I returned to the Europe, and I’m glad to be back! I spent the weekend in Belgium visiting friends, but now I’m back in London for my next Building Virtual Infrastructure seminar. If you’d like to learn more about next-generation servers, networks, and storage I urge you to attend this event, whether in London or my future dates!
My last event (near home in Columbus, Ohio) was thoroughly rewarding for me. The audience was varied and interested, as always. This time it included the manager of a many-thousands-of-virtual-machines environment, some newbies to the virtualization world, and lots of other folks in between. Also in attendance was my good friend Matt “Standalone Sysadmin” Simmons!
There were lots of great questions and comments made, with considerable interest in Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server 2012, alternatives like Xen and KVM, and thoughts on replication and data protection. Good thing W. Curtis Preston’s Backup Central Live was the next day!
If you’re interested in new ideas about servers, storage, and networks, I urge you to come to this seminar or one of my future dates. And I always welcome referrals and friends! Register now!
