Networking Field Day 8

September 6, 2014 By Stephen Leave a Comment

If you’re interested in networking, I highly recommend tuning in to the video stream live this week for Networking Field Day 8! You’ll see 9 different networking companies present their technology, products, and people to an international Tech Field Day delegate panel, and you can participate online through Twitter.

I can’t really explain this photo. Networking Field Day just gets crazy sometimes…

9 Companies, 12 Delegates

This time around, our organizing team focused on bringing in new delegates. After all, no one wants the same “old boys club”! So we’re thrilled to have four (or maybe five) delegates who’ve never before been to Networking Field Day: David Gee, Josh Kittle, Lindsay Hill, and Ryan Booth. Additionally, this is Jonathan Davis’ first Networking Field Day event – he’s joined us at Cisco Live but never a full Tech Field Day event.

And how about this list of companies: A10 Networks, Big Switch Networks, Brocade, Cisco (Insieme), Gigamon, Nuage Networks, Pluribus Networks, Spirent, and ThousandEyes. Of these, A10 is all new and Gigamon hasn’t been to Tech Field Day in three years. The Insieme group at Cisco is new to the event, too.

Networking Field Day 8 Calendar

Networking Field Day 8 lasts all day Wednesday and Thursday and most of Friday morning. You can watch live streaming video of the entire event at the Tech Field Day web site.

The agenda is below, and you can subscribe to the calendar feed to have it automatically translated into your local time zone.
