The best thing about VMworld is the people, and one of the coolest gatherings of people traditionally happens before the event has even started! VMunderground is an annual party organized by awesome folks, including Brian Knudtson and Jim Millard for this edition. And this year there’s more than a party!
Opening Acts is a joint production of VMunderground and vBrownBag. It’s a technical event Sunday afternoon, including panel sessions featuring some great people. There will be sessions on networking, storage, architecture, and even social media and your career! Check out the full Opening Acts agenda for yourself!
Tickets are sold out, but they’re welcoming walk-ups for standing room access. Note that you need a separate ticket for the VMunderground party!
I’ll be part of the “Cloud & General Virtualization” panel at 3pm. Moderated by Leah Schoeb, this panel also includes Stu Miniman, Sean Clark, Hugo Phan, Aaron Delp, and little old me. How cloudy!
So swing by City View at Metreon (right across the street from the Moscone) on Sunday, August 24 between 1 and 4 PM! This is an awesome space on the 4th floor. I’ll see you there!
