Networking may be straightforward, but the world of networking terminology is not. I’ve been steeped in the strange lingo of Ethernet for many years, but I still get confused by some of the terms. What’s the difference between 1000BASE-CX, 1000BASE-SX, and 1000BASE-T? In this post, I’m going to tackle this Ethernet network naming convention.

Apple Improving iPhone and iPad Mail in OS 4
Apple’s announcement of an iPhone OS 4 event just days after the introduction of the iPad may have been a surprise, but the features of the next OS were widely predicted. The big news may have been (limited) multitasking, but I focused on the enterprise features. iPhone mail is something of a fixation for me, and I was pleased to see that major enhancements are in store!
