At the end of August, I’m headed to San Francisco for VMworld US 2012! I say this with quite a bit of excitement because VMworld is always a highlight of my year but also because of the fun stuff I have planned this year: A special Tech Field Day Roundtable discussion, fun meetups like VMunderground, and of course lots of great technical content!

VMworld 2011, Las Vegas
Next Sunday, I’m headed back to Las Vegas (for my fifth time this year!) for another enterprise IT event. But this is a special event: VMworld always includes an amazing group of attendees and companies! And for the first time, I’m participating in the event, presenting to vExperts on Sunday. I hope I see you there!
I’m a Microsoft MVP and VMware vExpert for 2011!
I sincerely appreciate receiving these awards, and thank Microsoft and VMware for their faith in me. I also sincerely appreciate the contribution and feedback I get from the technical community around me, and thank you just as much for these awards. I would not have received them without the readers of my blog, the attendees at my seminars, and the vast community that I interact with on a daily basis. Thank you!
Recognition: VMware vExpert and Microsoft MVP for 2010
I’m not one to toot my own horn (even though social networks seem more tolerant of this) but I had to mention two pieces of news I received this month: For 2010, I’m a VMware vExpert and a Microsoft MVP!
