Holiday shopping in the USA traditionally kicks off with “Black Friday”, the day after Thanksgiving. Although not quite the bonanza it’s rumored to be, many retailers do offer compelling Black Friday deals. Here are my favorites for 2010.

I already called out Amazon as the “go-to” place to buy Office 2011 for Mac OS X, but when the official Office for Mac blog spilled the beans on Black Friday deals, I had to take a look. Sure enough, Amazon.com is still the cheapest place to get Office 2011.

Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac Is (Finally) Here!
Microsoft just released Office 2011 for Mac, and power users stuck with Office 2008 are really excited to upgrade. Pretty much anyone in a corporate setting has to use Office (sorry Apple and Google) so the Office 2011 upgrade is a Big Deal. I’ve been looking for the best deal on Office for Mac, and it’s hard to beat Amazon. They’ve got free shipping, and are already discounting the suite around 10%.
