Back From the Pile: Interesting Links, January 7, 2011

It’s been a slow week (the holidays) and a crazy one. I’ve started pouring out the thin provisioning series, with 10 posts so far, as well as launching a new video “talk show” about enterprise IT. And I’ve got a new post over at SearchStorage, too. Whew!

Talking Cloud Storage Gateways With Nasuni and Cirtas

I’ve got a new video podcast up and running: Raising the Floor is a series of discussions about the future of enterprise IT. Enterprise IT Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Your Reliance On Backup Tapes – What’s wrong with backup tapes? They’re inaccessible, making them unsuitable for most applications. My latest post for my Enterprise Storage Strategies blog. Is Licensing Turning vSphere Into [...]

I’ll be joining John Troyer’s VMware Communities Podcast #44 tomorrow, April 14, and will be leading a segment focused on the changing storage landscape. I’m really looking forward to talking with John and the rest, since this is such a solid, fair, and content-rich podcast series!

SAN School Podcast Series Posted

TechTarget recently uploaded three podcast versions of my SAN School series from Storage Decisions last year.  These are audio-only, but I might be able to dig up the accompanying slides.  If you’re interested in this, please leave a note below or contact me through email. So without further ado, I present three lessons on SAN [...]
