Yet having owned an HP pavillion and gone through two motherboards as the video cards were embedded Its now time to switch to apple as I hope to get more life out of my computer than just two to three years. I couldn't come to grips with the almost 100% price delta between a similarly configured Mac and PC (admittedly the gap is partially due to the fact that I'm comfortable buying essentially a no-name PC for a home system).
